It would be amusing if emergent complexity arose from the most unlikely places, such as spam filters.

@v0 Perhaps autonomous cars would harbor some emergent AI, but I like the idea of an AI hiding like a feral animal in the farthest reaches of the internet.
Did you know you can use network packets as a rudimentary data storage device if you keep bouncing data around? (To get around the Time To Live counter). That's the kind of thing I'm thinking of, or distributed across many systems.
