zbarimg may has trouble decoding some QR codes composed of CSS elements due to tiny borders around the blocks. In that case, apply a small gaussian blur to the screenshot, followed by sharpening. Use imagemagick for more automation.
These seeds are easily saved in:
- text file (encrypt with GPG)
- password manager (not full 2FA, but better than a password alone)
2FA backup tip: use ZBar Barcode Tools to convert QR code screenshots into alphanumeric TOTP seeds

DLT one (Damn Linux Tablet) - keeping an eye on this modular Linux tablet project on Hackaday

Two system-on-module (SoM) are being evaluated, ideally both will be supported. One has a similar SoC to the Purism Librem 5, the other is a Jetson Nano.
How cool would it be to have a modular tablet chassis, similar to the 24 year-old ATX standard for PCs?
Trying to demo #TxTenna v0.96 for the next #CypherpunkAcademy meetup, but I keep getting an “Invalid transaction” error unless the sending phone has Internet access, defeating the entire purpose.
Any suggestions to make this work offline?

I'm so sorry to say it, but today @linuxjournal closed down for good. As you can imagine we are all so sad that this is the end. You can read my final goodbye here:

scratchy lets you quickly bootstrap a Linux distro in a (non-Docker) container and interactively execute something in it:

Currently supports bootstrapping Arch, but it's super easy to add more scripts for other distros! Contributions always welcome!
