Bisq v0.8.0 is out, with some big new features:

- HalCash as a new payment method
- Privacy improvements
Am i giving up on ideals to fast or is taking a realistic apprach and working on solutions rather than harping on full nodes for grandmas a better way?
Alltough desirable, everyone running a full node is simply not realistic. I imagine that people organize themselfs on a community level by connecting to nodes of people they know in real life and trust. Best case woul be to have alteast one full node operator/family. This would spark debate over proposed monetary/protocol changes in the pretty much lowest part of society and lead to a economically more educated public. Same with key management. We need circles of trust on the lowest level.
@samourai_official So far the only walletmaker (i know) who understands the important values of bitcoin. Its not hard actually:
1.) be transparent/open source
2.) focus on security
3.) protect users privacy (= ensure/enable fugibility)
4.) Focus on #Bitcoin and not on satisfying as many different shitcoinholders as possible
5.) KISS - Keep it Simple Stupid
Spread the word and help others to understand whats important and how to store/use Bitcoint! Education is the key to mass adoption!
Great video review about Bisq: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AAlZk2gGQEE Very clear and easy to understand description how to use Bisq.
