I think an open source election system is needed for the next one, maybe start working on that if you have free time.

Look into ThreeBallot and systems based off it.

The issue with any voting system is who distributes the ballots.

Hate to inform you, but the USA is GONE. It isn't coming back, bar mass civil disobedience.

@fluxdev I think open source blockchain based election system could help the situation. If you can verify your vote is counted, change it on the fly and see the count change, with your identifier on the public list. May instill some confidence back.

@minnow @fluxdev if we just has a public election where names and votes were public, us all being citizens and all, we could easily verify the count and our vote whenever we want. We all publicly talk about who or what we want, and we should, why not put our money where our mouth is?

@minnow @fluxdev plus the crooks counting the vote get to see your name and who you vote for anyway.

@Zachary_BTC @minnow
Still doesn't solve the problem of Sybil. You can verify your own vote, but you can't verify that a real person exists for every other vote.

@fluxdev @minnow right, this would still be up to whoever is registering you, most likely the government.

@Zachary_BTC @minnow And therein is the deception of democracy. It is a theatre where two groups get to fight between themselves about micromanaging your life, but the things that matter, like the money, are controlled by the non-elected central banks, which are private and often the shareholders are not fully known.

The system was always rigged from the start. You only ever had the option to vote for the lesser of two evils.

@fluxdev @Zachary_BTC @minnow as an Indian under the Indian act... I wholeheartedly witness this wholesale on my people and agree wholeheartedly without question! Sovereignty must be exercised, a choice and path for the individual and those like minded - we called them "the good mind"

@Digitalwampum @fluxdev @Zachary_BTC Maybe anonymous voting is doing more harm than good indeed.
