@TallTim As far as I understand, they didn't actually have all that BCH - they were just numbers in their database. If anyone had withdrawn, the exchange would probably go broke.

lnd 0.6.0 is in RC3 https://github.com/lightningnetwork/lnd/releases One of many major changes is a brand new peering system that eliminates excessive sync traffic by capping redundant sync peers. On my node it has resulted in a 10x drop in inbound bandwidth. The impact will grow when more peers update.
