Today was my yearly reminder that the difference between authentication and authorization is, and has always been, confusing. Even the IETF got it wrong (then fixed it, then updated that again)

@berkes Doesn't help that both shorten to "auth".

@kekcoin indeed. And a10n or a12n doesn't help either (I tried that in a project once. It sucks). I'd currently go so far that I think the linter should flag the word 'auth'.
