ZDNet journalist repeats Craig Wright's claims about stolen funds hook-line-and-sinker.

This either means that journalist is truly incompetent - one google search would raise so many red flags about Wright it's ridiculous - or they accepted something from Wright in exchange for publishing lies. Quite possibly the article itself...

The code is the spec, the white paper was just a brochure. Satoshi updated and continually revised the code, acknowledging that Bitcoin had some inherent malleability.

Bitcoin isn't guaranteed to pump in a global recession. It will probably sell off

@nicstheses my Unpopular opinion:
We made a mistake by adopting TOR for bitcoin and lightning hidden nodes.

We should have gone for I2P instead.

You might've heard of NYT's story on a guy who lost his bitcoins.

TLDR: the story is full of bullshit.

The poor guy was a CTO and a founder at Ripple, and has netted hundreds of millions of dollars from Ripple (that launched its own scammy crypto called XRP). Ripple is facing serious security and fraud charges by SEC, and is defending itself in the courts by bullshitting on Bitcoin.

Don't you find it coincidental that mainstream media runs this story the same time the lawsuit is going?

Bitcoin will never be cuddly and fully regulated. It will be used by terrible people. Bitcoiners need to be ok with that

Hey @bitcoinhackers, I was permanently banned on Twitter over the weekend and I refuse to create a new account.

Can you guys please boost this so I can find and reconnect with people, thanks!

Just a reminder that you are the biggest threat when it comes to losing your own bitcoin.

Make sure you back up your seed, spread it to multiple locations and login on your hardware wallet regularly.

Many people will not truly make the move to Mastodon because they are addicted to the constant dopamine hits on twitter.

I have 11.5 followers on twitter. While not massive, it's enough to keep me constantly hooked with new updates. Over the last couple of days, I have stopped using twitter completely. Only recently have I realized how much time and energy it sapped away from me while also negatively affecting my overall mood.

Seems like many bitcoiners can't quit the drug, at least not yet.

Imagine payment channels being used to build up karma/kudos/trust and then being able to exchange or spent that trust on lower basis points in a future loan contract.
