Interesting! Looks like we might be getting Mastodon account verifications via Keybase; would be great to be able to self-certify one’s own account...

OH: Am considering taking BCH private at 420 satoshis. Funding secured. 🤣

Wouldn’t it be funny if Andreas got “Mastering Ethereum” into bookstores just in time to see ETH squeak back down to, like, two bucks? Unemployed solidity programmers will be burning their pre-ordered copies for warmth.

Stupid question time (I'm not a trader) - I've watched BCash's decline in price relative to Bitcoin, and see folks pointing at 0.10 BTC as a tipping point / point of no return price. (esp. Vijay @real_vijay on Twitter)

Why is 0.10 (10% of Bitcoin's price) considered to be so critical? Is it a purely psychological threshold or is there something more to it than that? It's seemingly being propped up / held at 0.9 recently, if 0.10 was supposed to be crucial it doesn't seem to have been so far?

Wouldn't it be funny if the only thing left on crypto twitter was shitcoins and "thought leaders"?

@TallTim Figured it out... You have to click on their username, then the dot menu on their profile allows you to hide the entire instance.

Interesting side effect of the ; We are exposing a ton of other people to that may not have been otherwise.

Question to all Bitcoin developers around:

What do you think about Cory's decision to report the BCH chainsplit vulnerability?

What would you have done?

I still cannot f'ing believe they called it "tooting". 🤔 🤦‍♂️ 🤣

Yes, I am five years old.

@nvk in b4 Roger Ver bursts into tears crying about censorship.

Checking out Tootdon for iOS- pretty slick, feels better than the web UI even. Unless I start hearing consensus from others for a better option I think this is currently the best option for Mastodon on iPhone...

A few reasons to move from twitter to the fediverse:

- Non-manipulated feed
- No promoted tweets
- You are not the product
- You can choose a community that works for you or create one
- Less censorship, depending on the community
- Decentralized
- Non-profit
- No surveillance with respect to delivering you to advertisers
- No sudden/continual API policy changes to protect a profit stream
- Open source transparency, auditability, forkability, improvability
